It’s easy to go down the rabbit hole on bakery tools… trust me … I have a closet full of piping tips and those worthless icing “bottles” that I honestly should just throw away.
However these 3 bakery tools deserve their very own post because while they may seem frivolous they are totally worth buying. Once you get these tools you will literally wonder how you mixed icing and decorated cookies without them. I’m not exaggerating when I say as a cookie decorator theses 3 things have been life changing😅! And the best part is they can all be snagged on amazon for under $10 bucks (Wahoo)!
Amazon bargain finds for your Cookie Business
A Turntable. Seriously I don’t know how I used to decorate cookies with out it. It helps you keep from bumping your cookies and getting those little hairline fractures in them. Snag yours Here !
A Scribe tool ! This little tool also known as a needle tool helps you pop air bubbles and create cool “wet on wet” designs. My favorite brand is Wilton and you can find it Here!
And last but not least if your mixing any quantity of royal icing you need a tiny scraper its flexible like a larger rubber scraper (or spatula depending on what you call it ) but small like a spoon. Seriously one of my cookie friends sent me one when I was just starting out and it made mixing icing so much easier. Trust me you’re going to want one. Amazon sells them Here!
