How optimize your instagram bio for your bakery.
As a small business owner you likely have a love hate relationship with social media. Trust me I get it. Most of us just want a way to connect and serve our customers without having to fight with the algorithm…. but unfortunately social media isn’t always the easiest platform to understand. However there are a few simple steps we can do to make sure our bakery business is easy to find online. So lets so good bye to crappy Instagram bios that your customers don’t understand and hello to new customers who will learn to love your bakery !
So today we’re going to cover 3 Easy steps you can do to optimize your Instagram bio (or Facebook profile) so that your customers can find you more easily !
Use a profile photo with you in it, people want to know who you are and who they are working with, which is why adding a photo with you in it is so Important. And honestly when you’re adding photos to your feed you should be regularly including photos (or videos) of you. It makes your profile more relatable and human. Remember people connect with other people so make your best effort to put yourself out there.
Include what you sell and what geography you serve. So for example if I was selling custom cookies in Okanogan, Washington the first line in my profile under my name would be “ Custom Cookies $60/ dozen serving Okanogan County”. If you get a lot of price questions it doesn’t hurt to add that in there as well.
Include information on how they can directly get a hold of you for your orders. So either link your order page and state “order here” or put an email address and state “email me for order inquires”
Basically your entire goal is of your profile is to answer the question of who you are, what you do and where you do it so that your customers can easily find your bakery and get ahold of you to order.
Hopefully that helps ! and if you have any questions feel free to reach out you can find me @cookieladyacademy on the gram or you can send me an email at kaitlyn@bigfootbakeryllc.com I am happy to help!
